Paddle Australia – Strategic Plan State Consultation Workshop this Saturday

Paddle Australia are developing a new Vision and Strategic Plan for Paddling in Australia. Ultimately, this will lead to a significant re-positioning of paddling in Australia, both as a sport and recreation. The Plan will outline where we are going, what we need to do to get there and, most importantly, who will do what! Your perspectives will help us shape our future.

To ensure we secure as much expert, relevant input to this plan as possible, and that everyone gains a full understanding of where we are heading and why, Paddle Australia is putting in place a number of consultation forums. The aim is to strike a balance between an appropriate level of contribution and engagement but also ‘getting on with the job’!

The NSW/ACT Strategic Plan State Consultation Workshop is this Saturday 17 March 2018, straight after the State Marathon event at Woronora.

Burnum Burnum Reserve, Menai Road, Woronora commencing at approx 1:45-2pm. We thank in advance Paddle Australia CEO Phil Jones for his time in leading the consultation this Saturday. Just like your state body, the national body is very reliant on the strength and feedback of our clubs. Please don’t miss this opportunity to shape OUR FUTURE.

For catering purposes, please respond to me by Friday if you or a club representative are attending.

Kind thanks, Peter Tate – admin@nsw.paddle.org.au
