After a two year covid break, the Paddle Australia Awards night was back in full swing as the highlight in a 3 day planning / AGM weekend.

Members from across all states and disciplines came to recognise this year’s finalists and award winners and hear about the incredible things our members have been achieving.

A highlight of the night was listening to young David Brain from Tasmania, who at aged 16, took a trip with his father Matt through the wilderness of Tasmania. The pair took out the coveted 2022 Olegas Truchanas Award for adventuring.

As well as extending congratulations to all members on their achievements for the 2021-2022 season, NSW would particularly like to congratulate our NSW members who were named as the winners in their respective categories
