BRCC has begun another chapter in 2022 by hosting several whitewater events in the Port Macquarie region as well as the Grafton area, where our events are usually held. A group of motivated paddlers in that area have been exploring the local rivers and a great new slalom and river-running course has been found on the Forbes River. BRCC held a slalom camp and whitewater weekend near Port Macquarie that was loved by all despite torrential rain!
Special thanks go to Sam Dalton for making this happen and providing the shelters and toasty fire pits during the events. We look forward to more events in this area.
BRCC held another Whitewater Weekend on the 30 April – 1st May and will assist in the running of the NSW State Schools competition on the 21-24th May, both held on the Mann River. Please get in touch with us if you are interested in the State Schools competition.
