Notice is hereby given that a Special General Meeting of PaddleNSW shall be held online at 7:30pm on Tuesday, 28th February 2023.
The agenda shall cover one topic – an organisational strategic review, approved by the Members present at the AGM held 22nd September 2022.
As background for the topic, PaddleNSW has secured quotes from independent consultants to undertake the review, costing approximately $30,000. The Board is supportive of the review in principle, however believes the cost is unreasonable expenditure of member funds.
The Board prefers a working group (independent of Board and staff) to be convened comprising appropriate personnel from within the membership of PA and PNSW affiliated clubs. This would be cost-effective and achieve similar outcomes.
Such a change to the original motion cannot be passed by the Board, but only at another General Meeting.
Further details of voting on the day, and log-in details for those wishing to attend the meeting, shall be provided to all Members and eligible stakeholders during the week leading up to the meeting.
