Paddle a Virtual Ultramarathon

In lieu of the Wyong Ultramarathon scheduled for August 30th, Paddle NSW is pleased to present our first official virtual race.

The event is open from Saturday August 29th to Sunday September 6th, allowing paddlers a flexible window of two weekends to complete their race in adherence to COVID safety rules and recommendations in their area. Paddlers can enter the 30km long course, the 15km short course or even both distances if they’re really keen!

Entry via Webscorer is free for members and open to paddlers anywhere!

How to paddle the Virtual Ultramarathon:

– Register your intent to paddle via Webscorer, ensuring that you have a Race Profile (your name will show in green on the Confirmation List when you do).

– Paddle your virtual race and time yourself, either alone or as part of a group. Individual clubs might choose to organise a mini-race for members, ensuring that no participants are travelling unduly between regions.

– Record your results in Webscorer, by going to ‘My Racer Profile’ under the profiles tab. Click on ‘Upcoming Races’ and a green button next to ‘Ultra Marathon Virtual Race #1’ allows you to enter your race time.

– You must record your result before 23:59 on Sunday September 6th, 2020.
