Directions Health, led by experienced First Aid Nurse Deanna Stratford, is offering an exclusive First Aid course designed to address the unique accidents and emergencies that can occur in paddling and racing environments.

Recently, the Sutherland Shire Canoe Club hosted this course (see picture), the skills learned were put into action when a junior paddler experienced hypothermia during the recent marathon event. Thanks to the training, the situation was managed effectively, highlighting the importance of these skills.
