A Level 1 Flatwater Coaching Course will be held at the Manly Warringah Kayak Club on Saturday 7th March. 8.00am – 4.30pm
It is a one-day course and will combine several theory topics with practical on-water activities and assessment. A formal coach assessment will be completed at a later date.
Participants are expected to bring their own craft, though boats may be provided if needed.
There are several pre-requisites for the course, which are available on-line.
These include a WWC check, and completion of the ‘coaching general principles’ and ‘play by the rules’ courses, both of which are available at https://learning.ausport.gov.au/
Cost of the course is $180.00.
