Flatwater Guide Instructor Course Nov 24 and 25

This course is based on the Paddle Australia Qualifications Framework for guiding recreational paddlers on flat water trips on lakes, estuaries, rivers, and sheltered bays. For this reason, a guide or Instructor will need to be a highly competent paddler in the particular environment, range of conditions and type of boat used by recreational paddlers before coming to this course.

A Skills Review can be conducted beforehand to enable time to hone skills. This will enable more course time to focus on the needs of guides and instructors. Contact education@nsw.paddle.org.au to arrange. Bring your own craft and equipment or request to hire.

If a participant has completed a previous PaddleNSW Guide/Instructor Training Course or undertaken Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) review, they can apply to undergo assessment during the course. This must be confirmed before the course start date.

For further information contact education@nsw.paddle.org.au or go to https://www.webscorer.com/register?raceid=150473 for registration, for detailed information and resources to prepare for the Course click HERE
